BRIS: Y2K House Party (ages 25-45)

  • Salud Restaurant 109 Haig Road Auchenflower, QLD, 4066 Australia (map)

The Ultimate Throwback House Party - Y2K Theme

Remember real house parties?
Red Solo cups. Mario Kart battles. Biggie blasting through someone’s parents’ stereo. Meeting new friends (or your future partner) in a crowded kitchen or courtyard.

We’re bringing that exact vibe back.
Just without the awkward part of crashing someone’s house.

Expect a full 90s / 2000s throwback night made for mingling, banter and meeting new legends. Come solo or bring your mates. Either way, you’ll leave with new people in your crew.

What’s Happening

Because every great house party starts with games.

🎮 Mario Kart Tournament

🎵 90s / 2000s Bangers

Multiple Rooms, Multiple Vibes

💕 Single? Grab a Wristband
Spot who else is open to finding their Player 2.

This isn’t a matched event.
It’s about meeting people naturally and works best for people ready to mingle and meet new faces.

Grab your ticket now before it sells out.

PS: Show up in your best Y2K outfit.

  • You'll get a fun name tag that doubles as a conversation starter, and a wristband if you're single. This is a very casual event, so feel free to hang and chat to whoever you're drawn to, and we'll also have convo cards + play some games to encourage you to chat to new people!

  • We called it “House Party” because of the concept: you come to make friends and meet people, not just to dance like you would at a club. It is held at a bar that has different rooms and activities/vibes that makes it feel like being in a House Party (except with better facilities!)

  • We heard your feedback about wanting the freedom to choose your own food and drinks, so we are NOT including any food & drinks. Food and drinks (both alcoholic and amazing non-alc options) are available at the venue for you to choose from :)

  • You'll get a wristband if you're single and open to meeting someone, but from there on out it's up to you to go and chat to other singles there! There's a mix of people who are single AND not single, so there's less pressure to find someone, and you can bring your not-single friends to wingman you! You won't be forced to talk to everyone like speed-dating, but we'll play some games and hand out conversation cards to encourage deep convos with whoever you want to chat with. It's like an in-person vibe check for friends + dates!

  • Absolutely - in fact we highly encourage coming solo as you’ll make SO many more friends this way. CC Events are super welcoming and everyone is there because they want to make new friends, so strike up a convo with a stranger and you'll make friends in no time!

  • Yes! But only if they have purchased a ticket - make sure they grab one ASAP as these events sell out fast!

  • We ask that you arrive ON TIME so you get the most out of this experience. We had designed this event so you start creating connections from the moment you get there. If you arrive late, it means you miss out on some of the crucial bonding moments with your new friends and can impact the other guests’ experience, so to respect the group, we will not be allowing late arrivals beyond 30 minutes.
